This and that

  • Living in the city during the summer is strange. (well, if you can call Reykjavik a city) I always go back to my hometown for the summer so this is my first summer here. I miss my beautiful town and my people there a bit, but I try to focus on the reasons I wanted to stay here. I tend to regret things – I’m working on that! Always trying to improve myself… but that’s another story.
  • Another strange thing is studying in June! That’s another first. Stupid me, failing that exam. And boy oh boy, I really do NOT like microeconomics. It’s way too abstract for my weird little head. The exam is on thursday and I’m really scared that I’m going to mess this up again. Cross your fingers for me (you imaginary readers…)
  • I’ve been watching a lot of So you think you can dance (that name is way too long!) lately. When I’ve been supposed to be studying. Hmm, that’s maybe why I failed this exam in the first place – watching TV instead of studying. No, that can’t be right… Well, anyway. I really like that show. And it makes me wanna dance. With somebody. Sorry, couldn’t help the Whitney reference. That’s how cool I am. Maybe my next challenge will be taking dance lessons. I would love to learn some swing, lindy hop or something like that.

Well, back to microeconomics and my good friend Coffee.

cardigans

The Cardigans and microeconomics go surprisingly well together. But I’ve said goodbye to microeconomics, for today that is. Unfortunately not forever! But I might continue enjoying the Cardigans in my backyard because I’m going outside. The weather is amazing, on an Icelandic scale at least.
