My wandering mind

I have come to the conclusion that some days must have fewer hours in them than others. It must be!
Today was one of those short days. I watched 3 episodes of Six Feet Under and had dinner with a friend – that doesn’t take 12 hours does it? What did I do with the rest of the day?!
Mysterious.

I like these dresses so much (Yes, I’ve stopped talking about the mysterious “short days” case – my mind wanders…)

I particularly like the bottom one. I have a thing for big, flowing sleeves.
These are from H&M’s Garden Collection and apparently they’re sold out. Online – at least. I might have to send some friends or relatives abroad out hunting for them in an actual H&M store.

Dog days are over

I listened to this song about 100 times today:

  1. It is a great song and Florence has an amazing voice
  2. I love what she’s wearing in the beginning of the video – the suit thing
  3. I love all the clowns/circus people. I have a strange fascination with circus-ish/clown/jester clothes. Sometimes I like to dress as a circus-girl!
  4. Glitter = good.
  5. Her red hair is very pretty. I want me some red hair.

Hey, big spender

Went downtown yesterday to see a little bit of the Gay Pride parade. The parade was colorful and the town was full of happy smiling people.  Took a few (bad) photos.

Shortly after that I got a little claustrophobic and got myself away from the main street. It was getting waaaaay too crowded. And I don’t like that.
Instead I took a picture of my favorite tree which is located downtown Reykjavik:

Unfortunately the tree is located at a quite unattractive streetcorner. Wish I could move it to a nice park or something!

Today I accidentally spent lots of money. Well, maybe not lots… but compared to what I usually spend it’s quite a lot. You see, I went to the mall, to go grocery shopping and I ended up buying a blender, pants and a top. Yes, and a house-warming gift for my friend Elisabet. I bought her a Moomin mug – love them! See here. But they are quite expensive, at least here in Iceland where everything is expensive these days. I also bought her a guest-book for her appartment.
And the clothes I bought are the first clothes I’ve bought since January – beat that!
